Carolyn Childs has been working with leading international airlines and travel companies for more than a decade including a period heading the market research function for IATA in London and has also worked as an independent consultant. She has been Managing Director of TRC since 1998.
Carolyn has undertaken projects to support a variety of business decisions and processes including new product development, brand positioning and relaunch, marketing planning and customer satisfaction, as well as on industry developments such as low cost airlines and Internet strategy.
Clients she has worked for include Aer Rianta, Airbus Industrie, British Aerospace, Birmingham International Airport, The Consumers' Association (UK), The Commonwealth Secretariat, Emirates Airline, IATA, KLM, OAG, Qantas Airways, Rank Hotels, Sabre, Swissair, Westin Hotels & Resorts, United Airlines and Utell International.
She has spoken at many conferences on customer service, benchmarking and airline marketing.
