Marketing and Account Director - Europe
Carmel Corcoran is a Director of KRL - TRC's Associate Partners in London. Carmel has more than 17 years of experience in the air transport industry. She initially worked for Ryanair, Customer Services before moving to IATA in 1989, rising to Assistant Director, Product Research. Whilst in IATA's Aviation Information and Research department, she managed various industry wide ad-hoc research studies covering mystery shopping, brand image, business traveller attitudes and opinions, telecommunications, product development and in-flight services.
In her role as Assistant Director, Product Research, she was responsible for the development of IATA's global syndicated research projects including:
• Global Airline Performance (GAP)
• Global Airport Monitor (GAM)
• Survey of Flights in Europe (SoFiE)
• Cargo Service Tracker (CST)
• Corporate Air Travel Survey (CATS)
These studies include experience of both qualitative and quantitative techniques on an international basis.
Carmel has a BA (Hons) Economics and French from University College Dublin.
