TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PRIZE DRAW

1. The draw is being held by Travel Research Centre (Australia) Pty Ltd of Suite 2, Level 2, 66 Oxford Street, Darlinghurst, NSW, 2010, ABN 67 055 413 397. The nominee for the draw is Carolyn Childs, CEO/MD of the company.
2. The draw is operated under the following TPL permit numbers: ACT TP 05/0685, NSW TPL 05/01259, NT05/418, SA T05/652. The draw is also registered in WA and Tasmania. No registration required in VIC and QLD.
3. The draw is open to anyone who qualifies by reason of their recent travel experience within Australia as measured in early screening parts of the questionnaire and who goes on to complete either a computer-based interview or paper based questionnaire on the "Project ORTO". The interviews will be conducted by invitation at Visitor Information Centres in New South Wales and to respondents who have contacted TNSW or ORTO to enquire about Outback holidays and indicated that they are willing to participate in market research. The period of collecting responses (and thus entries) will be from 28th February until 31st August 2005
4. The draw is open to both Australian and overseas residents who qualify. Approximately 1000 names will be entered into the draw.
5. The draw has 5 prizes. The First Prize is 1 x package for 2 Adults on Silver City Tours "Outback Adventure". It includes 7 tours starting from Broken Hill (Broken Hill City Sights Tour, Silverton Ghost Town Tour, Royal Flying Doctor Service Tour, Sunset Sculptures Tour, Art Gallery Tour, Menindee Lakes and Wetland Cruise Tour, White Cliffs Tour),, transfers between these tours, 5 nights' motel accommodation with dinner and light breakfast, lunch on 2 days, all entrance fees on the tours. It excludes spending money, all other meals and transfers to Broken Hill. There is no air travel provided. Second prize is 4 x $250.00 worth of StarCash which can be spent at Caltex service stations.
6. The approximate value of the prizes is as follows: 1st prize $1490.00, 4 x 2nd prizes $250.00 each.
7. There is no cash alternative.
8. The first prize must be used within 12 months of the date of the draw, is non-transferable and subject to availability.
9. The draw will be made on 12 September 2005 at 10.00 at Travel Research Centre's registered office of Suite 2, Level 2, 66 Oxford Street, Darlinghurst, NSW, 2010 by the nominee, Carolyn Childs. The winner will be selected by a computer-generated random number attached to their questionnaire number and will be notified in writing or by e-mail within 5 working days. In the event of an unclaimed prize, a fresh draw will be conducted using the same methodology on 13 December 2005.
10. The winner will also be announced in The Australian on 17 September 2005 and on TRC's website. If a further draw is made for unclaimed prizes, this will also be announced in the Australian on 17 December 2005.
11. Respondents' contact details are collected for the purposes of the lottery and for quality control purposes only. Once the project is complete and the winners are drawn, the identities of respondents will be retained in a secure database for a period of 12 calendar months' (in line with our professional commitments under the ESOMAR code of conduct which requires maintenance of all direct records for that period). At that point they will be destroyed.
12. No one will be contacted by TRC, its agents or partners for any other reason than those stated at points 3 or 10.
