Outback Tourism Research

The research was on behalf of the Outback Regional Tourism Organisation and we have now in the process of reporting.
The response to the survey from both those who helped to distribute it and those who participated was very high and we thank everyone for their time and effort.
To indicate our appreciation of the time people gave, we entered the contact details of all qualifying respondents into a draw with a first prize of an Outback tour and 4 second prizes of $250 StarCash which can be redeemed at Caltex service stations. The draw was conducted on September 12th at TRC's offices. All respondents' contact details were assigned a unique 3-digit identifier code and a number drawn at random to identify the winner using a programme called random.org, created at University College Dublin in Ireland. The winner of the draw was Mr Don Lambert of Wynnum, QLD, with four runners up Ms Cheryl Kevill of Kallangur, QLD, Ms Jannice Bonner of Dapto, NSW, Mr Keith McCord of Tingiro Heights, NSW and R J Scobie of Lorn, NSW. All winners have been notified in writing (or by e-mail) and this was advertised in the Australian.
